Brazil's JP-News Installs AEQ CAPITOL IP Virtual Console at Foz do Iguaçu Studio
AEQ announced on July 22, 2026 that JP-News, the news division of Brazil's Jovem Pan Group, has upgraded its studio in Foz do Iguaçu with an AEQ CAPITOL IP digital audio console operated through AEQ's VirtualCAPITOL software, removing the need for a physical control surface. Jovem Pan Group, founded in 1944, operates roughly 100 owned and affiliated radio stations across Brazil.
The CAPITOL IP console's integrated audio engine supports analogue, digital and AoIP connectivity, and VirtualCAPITOL lets operators manage all console functions from a standard PC in place of physical faders. The Foz do Iguaçu modernization also included new broadcast equipment, studio furniture and IT systems as part of the station's move to IP-based infrastructure.
