LineUp and AEQ Connect Brazil and United States for SBT's FIFA World Cup 2026 Coverage
AEQ announced on June 24, 2026 that its Brazilian partner LineUp deployed intercom infrastructure built on AEQ's Xpeak technology to support Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão's (SBT) broadcast coverage of the FIFA World Cup 2026, connecting SBT's headquarters in Brazil with Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia and the International Broadcast Center in Dallas, alongside transmission partner NSports.
An AEQ Virtual Matrix interconnected all three operational points: Xpeak IF interfaces integrated SBT's existing DELEC intercom system at its Brazil headquarters and the RTS intercom system aboard the outside broadcast vehicle in Philadelphia, while operators in Dallas coordinated through Xpeak Virtual, AEQ's software-based communications application. The setup let the geographically dispersed teams "operate as a single communications network while seamlessly integrating different intercom technologies within the same broadcast workflow."
