Nou Broadcast Service and AEQ Support Audiovisual Production of Pope Leo XIV Event in Barcelona
AEQ announced on June 17, 2026 that Nou Broadcast Service used AEQ intercom equipment to coordinate the audiovisual production of an event in Barcelona featuring a meeting between Pope Leo XIV and social and charitable organizations at the Church of Saint Augustine. The production deployed 11 cameras, a telescopic crane reaching 14 meters, and a radio-equipped Steadycam, with signal coordination support from Torrespaña.
Communications across the multi-camera setup ran on the AEQ XPEAK family intercom platform, combining rack-mounted and desktop user panels with AEQ Xplorer MAX wireless beltpacks to interconnect workstations across the venue. AEQ said the family of products, which also includes PC software applications and interface units for integrating third-party equipment, allowed technical teams to coordinate effectively in a demanding live production environment.
