Qvest, Ateme and Scaleway Partner to Deliver Sovereign OTT Platforms for Europe
Qvest, Ateme and Scaleway announced on July 23, 2026 a partnership to deliver production-ready sovereign OTT platforms for European broadcasters, media organizations and sports rights holders, built entirely on European technology. The joint offering covers the full streaming workflow — ingest, encoding, packaging, content delivery, DRM and analytics — allowing organizations to launch new streaming services, migrate existing platforms, or hand operations to Qvest as a managed service.
Scaleway supplies sovereign European cloud infrastructure, Ateme contributes live encoding, packaging, origin, CDN and server-side ad insertion technology, and Qvest provides architecture design, ecosystem integration and managed operations; the partnership responds to growing regulatory pressure on European broadcasters to reduce dependency on non-European cloud providers. The three companies plan to demonstrate the platform live at IBC Show 2026, September 11-14 in Amsterdam.
