AVMatrix Launches DE20-4K HDMI Encoder/Decoder with Built-In NDI Support
AVMatrix introduced the DE20-4K, a combined HDMI encoder and decoder for live streaming, recording and AV-over-IP applications, with the product listed on the company's site on July 14, 2026. The device supports simultaneous 4K60 HDMI input and output with zero-latency HDR passthrough, while its IP encoding and decoding path handles up to 4K30 at up to 50 Mbps, with an NDI|HX3-equipped variant available alongside the standard model.
The DE20-4K adds USB and LAN streaming, SD card and USB disk recording, embedded audio mixing, PTZ camera pass-through control and tally indication, with power supplied via DC 12V, PoE or DC output. AVMatrix positions the unit as a compact way to combine HDMI encoding and decoding in a single device for broadcast, corporate AV and content-creation workflows; the model is already carried by resellers including B&H Photo, Markertek and DigiKey.
