Dream Chip Technologies Launches ISP-X418, Latest Addition to X4 Series Image Signal Processors
Dream Chip Technologies introduced the ISP-X418 on June 22, 2026, the newest addition to its X4 series of real-time image signal processors for vision applications. The chip processes up to 1.3 gigapixels per second, equivalent to 16MP at 60fps, and supports resolutions up to 64MP at 120fps with dynamic resolution ranging from 12 to 28 bits.
The ISP-X418 offers HDR-capable processing with tone-mapped 12-bit output, three parallel outputs for human vision, machine vision, and infrared applications, and a 32-bit peripheral virtual component interface. The device includes physical extensions for functional safety and is certified to ISO 26262, positioning it for automotive vision systems that require certified safety performance.
