ENENSYS Unveils TxEdge Remux for Local Regionalization and Stream Optimization
ENENSYS Technologies announced the launch of TxEdge Remux on July 10, 2026, a local remultiplexing product engineered for television operators that need simple, robust, and cost-effective content regionalization at cable, IPTV, satellite, and DTT edge sites. The platform runs on ENENSYS' modular HDc chassis with eight ASI ports and multi-interface IP/ASI support, and manages services, bandwidth, and PSI/SI tables locally rather than through a centralized main headend.
"TxEdge Remux offers a simple, reliable, and cost-effective solution for sites where local content modification is necessary. It is not intended to replace headend multiplexers, but rather to complement them by providing flexibility and autonomy in distributed or regional environments," said Hugues Carpe, Product Manager at ENENSYS Technologies. The product adds intelligent input-level redundancy and automatic service-level fallback to protect operators against signal loss and localized advertising revenue, alongside a streamlined interface intended to reduce operator training time.
