Limecraft 2026.5 Adds Multicam Player, Audio-Based Sync, and Mobile Notifications
Limecraft announced on 28 July 2026 the release of Limecraft 2026.5, adding a multicam player, audio fingerprint-based media synchronisation, real-time integration of live timecode notes, and mobile push notifications to its cloud production platform.
The new multicam player displays multiple synchronised camera recordings in a quad-view grid before switching to single-camera playback, while the audio-based synchronisation feature matches unsynchronised or timecode-deficient clips by comparing audio fingerprints across recordings. "Multicamera productions still lose a considerable amount of time preparing material before editors can start making editorial decisions," said Dieter Van Rijsselbergen, co-founder and CTO of Limecraft. The release also integrates live production notes from EditingTools.io directly into editing applications including Avid, Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, and was demonstrated at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam.
