PTZOptics and LayerJot Debut Healthcare Visual Reasoning Integration at InfoComm 2026
PTZOptics and LayerJot unveiled new Visual Reasoning demonstrations at InfoComm 2026 on June 17, 2026, including the first public demonstration of a healthcare integration that uses LayerJot's computer vision software to track surgical instrument utilization on the operating table and automate reporting for healthcare teams.
The integration generates automated utilization reports intended to help healthcare teams optimize inventory and reduce unnecessary sterilization of unused instruments. LayerJot Founder and CEO Etay Gafni described the collaboration as a demonstration of what visual AI and camera robotics can achieve together, while PTZOptics Director of Global Marketing Claudia Barbiero said the companies are showcasing practical visual AI applications that partners and integrators can deploy today, extending beyond healthcare into manufacturing, broadcast, education, and live events. PTZOptics also demonstrated LayerJot's Agentic Visual Application, which lets users control PTZOptics SimplTrack3 cameras using natural-language prompts, live throughout the show at Booth N8227.
