SLOMO.TV VAR System Supports Judges at Puma HYROX World Championships in Stockholm
SLOMO.TV announced on July 23, 2026 that its VAR (Video Assistant Referee) system was deployed at the Puma HYROX World Championships, held June 18-21, 2026 in Stockholm, to assist judges during the event's elite-level competitions, including the Elite 15 Men's and Women's races and the Mixed Relay Invitational. HYROX is a fitness competition combining 8 kilometers of running with eight functional workout stations, alternating between running segments and exercises.
The deployment marked SLOMO.TV's first application of its VAR technology in the fitness competition space, extending a system more commonly associated with sports such as football and ice hockey into a new competitive format.
