TAG Video Systems Advances Cloud and Virtualized Production Ahead of IBC2026
TAG Video Systems announced on July 27, 2026 a series of platform innovations ahead of IBC2026, where the company will exhibit at Stand 1.D33, RAI Amsterdam, September 11-14. Both core components of its Realtime Media Platform, MCM and MCS, are now available as Docker containers for automated deployment, alongside a full production implementation of the emerging MXL standard demonstrated with AWS interoperability and reduced latency on ST 2110 streams as low as 1.5 frames at 50fps.
The release also adds automated audio quality control, OCR-based conversion of DVB subtitles to text for compliance monitoring, Hitomi Matchbox integration for audio-to-video synchronization measurement, and support for the alpha channel in NDI streams. 'Our customers are re-architecting how they produce content,' said Michael Demb, TAG's VP of Product Strategy, pointing to software-defined monitoring at scale as a way to eliminate dedicated hardware boxes.
