ATRIUM : AEQ’s 3rd generation of high channel count On-Air and Production digital audio mixing consoles

Each ATRIUM console is built with a bespoke control surface. Each fader module has 6 motorised faders. It is possible to associate to each of these fader modules a touch screen module. This displays up to three pairs of VU-meters for each of its six channels and according to configuration. In addition, this screen allows contextual adjustment by gesture, mouse or encoder of the processes applied to each channel.

The console surface also has a control and monitoring module. This is sporting an internal display and 24 programmable keys, precision VU meters, CUE loudspeaker, USB connection and monitoring sections for control, paging and intercom/talkback. This control and monitoring module is complemented with an additional external touch screen and provides the console with loudness and correlation measurement detail.

The engine of each of the consoles supplied has a controller and redundant power supply, as well as very extensive connectivity: inputs for 8 microphones, 8 analogue lines, 8 AES/EBU digital lines, 64 MADI digital lines and 64 audio over IP in a choice of Dante or AES 67 format. Outputs are for primary and secondary headphones, 12 analogue lines, and the same number of outputs as inputs of the other types.
